The petitioner claims that he purchased an extent of Ac.13.21 guntas in Sy.No.582/A, situated at Kundaram Revenue Village, Lingala Ganapur Mandal, Jangaon District, by virtue of a registered Sale Deed vide Document bearing No.8418/2019. The petitioner then applied for issuance of Pattadar Pass Book in respect of the said property vide representation dt.14.08.2019 to respondent No.3. Alleging that Pattadar Pass Book is not issued in respect of the said property, the present writ petition is filed. 2.

Heard Sri Mullangi Rami Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.

As fairly submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner, pursuant to the registered sale deed through which the petitioner claims to have purchased the subject property, the petitioner has not applied for mutation of his name in the Revenue records. Without mutation of the name of the petitioner in the Revenue records, issuance of Pattadar Pass Book in respect of the subject property cannot be considered. Pattadar Pass Book only reflects the entries made in the Revenue records. Therefore, the contention of the learned

PNR,J W.P.No.27440 of 2019 counsel for petitioner that the respondents are not acting on the application of the petitioner for issuance of Pattadar Pass Book in respect of the subject property is invalid. 4.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed, leaving it open for the petitioner to apply for mutation of his name in respect of the subject property in the Revenue records, to which he claims to be entitled to in accordance with the procedure prescribed under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 and the Rules made thereunder. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
