HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT WRIT PETITION No.18539 of 2015 PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed by the petitioner-husband seeking production of his wife, Smt.Parsa Geetha Sakunthala @ Karna Geetha Sakunthala, the daughter of respondent No.5, contending that she has been illegally detained by her parents. The petitioner claims that he married Smt.Parsa Geetha on 14.05.2015 and on the very same day, her parents, including respondent No.5 went his home and took her away and since then, she has been in illegal detention of respondent No.5.

On last occasion, we had directed learned Advocate General to keep Smt.Parsa Geetha present in the Court. Today, she is present in the Court. We interacted with her. She categorically stated that she would like to join the company of the petitioner-husband. Respondent No.5 is not present in the Court. We also asked her whether there is any pressure or threat from either her parents or from the petitioner. She stoutly replied in the negative. Smt.Parsa Geetha is an educated girl of 21 years. We also interacted with the petitioner and his father and they both are ready to take her with them. Father of the petitioner has no objection for their marriage and he said that the petitioner and Smt.Parsa Geetha will stay with them.

In view thereof, the writ petition is allowed and disposed of as such. It is open for Smt.Parsa Geetha to go with the petitioner from the Court itself.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of.
