The present Writ Petition came to be field by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not releasing the salary of the petitioner as arbitrary and illegal and consequently to direct the respondents to release the aided salary from the date of appointment with all consequential benefits.

On 20.12.2005 this Court issued notice before admission and also passed interim order directing the respondents to take necessary steps for payment of the salary to the petitioner inconformity with the proceedings dated 17.03.2004. As the respondents failed to comply with the said order, the petitioner herein filed Contempt Case No.262 of 2006 for implementation of the interim direction of this Court. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner representing Sri P.R. Prasad stated that the Contempt Case was closed on 13.09.2016 as the interim order directing payment of salary to the petitioner in conformity with the proceedings dated 17.03.2004 was complied with. 4.
In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication. Hence, the Writ Petition is closed.
