THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 33336 OF 2017 O R D E R:

This writ petition is filed seeking a Mandamus to declare the action of respondent No.4-Sub-Inspector of Police, Abdullahpurmet Police Station in calling the petitioners to the Police Station, though they are not involved in any crime, as illegal and arbitrary. Learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana) placed before this Court the written instructions received from the Sub-Inspector of Police concerned, wherein it has been asserted that on the complaint of one Y.Lakshman stating that K.Jangaiah and his brothers trespassed into his land admeasuring 1300 square yards purchased from Janachaitanya Housing Private Limited, Crime No.144 of 2017 was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 427 and 506 IPC read with Section 34 IPC, and investigation is under progress. It is also asserted that except registering the crime, the Police never called the petitioners to the Police Station. Recording the said written instructions, the writ petition is closed. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any shall stand closed. No costs.
