Anke Gangadahr, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 3691 of 2017 ORDER:
This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondent Nos.4 and 5 in not providing police protection during 23rd, 24th and 25th February, 2017 in order to establish law and order in the premises of respondent No.9-Temple to carry out traditional ceremony "Wooden Horse God'.
Respondent Nos.2 to 5 filed a counter-affidavit stating that whenever there is request from the authorities concerned of the Endowments Department for carrying out the above ceremony, the Police would extend necessary protection.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.9Temple submits that the Temple would allow the petitioners to carry out the said ceremony and seek necessary protection from the police authorities.
Recording the statement made by the Sub-Inspector of Police in the counter-affidavit filed on behalf of respondent Nos.2 to 5 and that of respondent No.9-Temple, the writ petition is closed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________________ A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO,J Dt:16.02.2017 kdl
