Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "..... to issue an appropriate writ, order, or direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the petitioner's husband, by name Sunkanna, s/o.

Hussanaiah, age: 48 years, R/o. Taruguppala Village, Jugadu Bangla (M), Kurnool District, A.P., before this Hon'ble Court whereas the respondents illegally detained him and to pass such other order or orders ....." At the hearing, Mr. G.L. Narasimha Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the alleged detenu has since been released and that, therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

In the light of the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.
