HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CONTEMPT CASE No.132 OF 2017 JUDGMENT:

This contempt case is filed to punish the respondent under the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for disobeying the order, dated 01.11.2016, passed by this Court in WP No.37028 of 2016. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, informed that the rowdy sheet against the petitioner was closed and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this contempt case.

Recording the above, the Contempt Case is closed. Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall also stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
