The case of the petitioner is that his father died while in service on 20-05-2016 working in the 2nd respondent and the mother of the petitioner submitted all the documents for requesting for providing suitable compassionate appointment to the petitioner. As no action is taken in pursuance to his mother's representation, the petitioner submitted his application along with documents to the 2nd respondent on 17-02-2017 while requesting for his appointment on compassionate ground. The 2nd respondent forwarded the same to the 1st respondent on 22-02-2017. However, the 1st respondent sought certain clarification vide memo No.1386/A.1/2017, dated 04-05-2017 regarding name of the petitioner's father. After receiving the same, the mother of the petitioner by way of representation dated 25-07-2017 gave detailed clarification to the 1st respondent. Despite of acknowledging the same, there is no further action initiated by the 1st respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard both sides.

Since it is stated that the mother of the petitioner clarified the information by giving detailed representation in pursuance to the memo dated 04-05-2017, it is for the 1st respondent to take further action. It is not known why the 1st respondent has not taken any action.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the case, the 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 25-07-2017 in pursuance to the memo dated 04-05-2017 and take action accordingly within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. _________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY,J 04-09-2017 Nvl
