Ellenki Junior College, v. The State Of Telangana,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.34711 of 2015 ORDER:
The grievance of the petitioner college is that its application for shifting the institution from Domadugu Village, Jinnaram Mandal, Medak District, to Narsapur Village and Mandal, Medak District, is not being considered. The petitioner college's representation in this regard was stated to have been made on 19.05.2015 and it is the case of the petitioner college that it has also paid the requisite amount. Despite the matter being adjourned twice to enable the learned counsel for the respondents to get instructions, they were unable to do so. In that view of the matter, this Court sees no purpose served in keeping this matter pending as the issue need not be adjudicated by this Court in the first instance. It is for the authorities concerned to apply their mind to the application made by the petitioner college and take appropriate action in the matter in accordance with law.
The writ petition is therefore disposed of directing the respondents to consider the petitioner college's representation in accordance with law and take appropriate action in the matter thereupon expeditiously and in any event, not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
