Heard.

The petitioner was given a notice by the 2nd respondent alleging violation of the A.P.WALTA Act. The petitioner states that he has appeared before the 2nd respondent on 21-09-2015 and explained that there is no violation by him. However, the 2nd respondent has not yet passed any order, but is threatening to disconnect power supply without passing any orders.

Heard the learned Government Pleader for Revenue. In view of the fact that a notice was issued to the petitioner and he has appeared accordingly and explained that there is no violation by him, it is for the 2nd respondent to consider the cause shown by the petitioner and take appropriate decision in accordance with law. Therefore, there is no reason for this Court to believe that the 2nd respondent will not follow the provisions of the WALTA Act. He shall also examine whether the WALTA Act is attracted on the facts and circumstances of the case and take appropriate decision in accordance with law. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
