THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WP.No.33651 of 2015 ORDER :

Heard the counsel for petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for respondent nos.1 and 3.

2. The grievance of petitioner is that 1st respondent is not taking up the stay application in an appeal filed by petitioner on 25.08.2014 against the surcharge order in Rc.No.3776/2011-C dt.04.03.2014 of 3rd respondent even though the same had been pending for more than a year.

3. Having regard to the fact that the stay application filed by petitioner is pending before the 1st respondent for more than a year, the 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the stay application filed in the appeal preferred by petitioner against the above order of 3rd respondent within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No order as to costs.

5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
