The case of the petitioner is that the respondents kept the document No.P95/23/17/23 pending on the ground that the subject land can be sold on obtaining No Object Certificate from the concerned authorities. But, as per G.O.Ms.No.279, dated 04.07.2016 No objection certificate is required for the land which has been assigned to ex-servicemen who are in possession for more than ten years. The petitioner also made an application on 19.07.2016 seeking release of pending document bearing No.P95/23/17/23 by virtue of G.O.Ms.No.279. As no orders are passed, present writ petition is filed. Heard both sides.
In view of the above facts and circumstances, the 5th respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 19.07.2016 for consideration of his case in terms of G.O.Ms.279, dated 04.07.2016 and pass orders. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
