HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.7179 of 2004 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the termination orders. On 25.9.2009, this Court issued an interim direction to the 6th respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.7.2008.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance of the interim direction issued by this Court, the petitioner was reinstated into service on 2.1.2010, but the 6th respondent has not paid the salaries for the service rendered by the petitioner. He further submits that during the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner attained the age of superannuation and retired from service, and the only issue before this Court is about payment of salaries. 3.

This Court having considered the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, is of the view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a representation to the respondents concerned seeking payment of salaries for the services rendered by him, within a period of one week.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a representation to the respondents

concerned seeking payment of salaries for the services rendered by him, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such representation being made, the respondents concerned shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders in another four weeks thereafter. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
