THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No.1894 of 2015 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed complaining inaction of the respondents in complying with the order, dated 08.04.2015 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.9805 of 2015.

This Court while disposing of the Writ Petition by order, dated 08.04.2015, permitted the petitioners to file applications in Form-VIA under the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 and directed the fourth respondent to consider such applications and pass appropriate orders.

Now, it is brought to the notice of this Court that by issuing endorsement, dated 29.10.2015, the fourth respondent has complied with the order, dated 08.04.2015 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.9805 of 2015. By the said endorsement, the claim of the petitioners for grant of pattas came to be rejected for the reasons stated therein.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the said endorsement was not received by the petitioners and he seeks liberty to the petitioners to take appropriate

steps so as to challenge the aforesaid endorsement in appeal.

In that view of the matter, the Contempt Case is closed leaving it open to the petitioners to exercise the remedies available in law so as to challenge the endorsement, dated 29.10.2015 issued by the fourth respondent.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this Contempt Case shall stand closed.
