- 2 - THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.24138 OF 2018 ORDER :

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-1 for Government pleader for Education.

2.

Petitioner was working as Senior Assistant in the College of Teacher Education, Warangal. As the petitioner completed her long tenure in Warangal, she is now transferred to Jangaon. According to the petitioner her husband is working as Music Teacher in a Government School in Jayashankar Bhupalpally District. Therefore, petitioner requested for transfer to the said place. The said request of the petitioner is not accepted. Hence, this writ petition.

3.

According to learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri K.Srinivas, who is presently working in Jayashankar Bhupalpally District requested for transfer to Jangaon citing personal health ground and health of his father. As his request to Jangaon and the request of the petitioner to Jayashankar Bhupalpally District would mean exchange of places with mutual consent, therefore, the same could have been considered instead of posting the petitioner to Jangaon.

4.

As stated by learned counsel for the petitioner, no such request was made after the transfer counseling was completed and by the time of posting of petitioner to Jangaon question of mutual transfer request did not arise.

- 3 - 5.

Thus, granting liberty to the petitioner to submit an application to the Director of School Education, citing the request of Sri K.Srinivas for transfer to Jangaon and if it is agreeable for Sri K.Srnivas for such transfer, to consider the request of the petitioner duly taking note of the fact that the husband of petitioner is working in Jayashankar Bhupalpally District. A decision shall be taken and communicated to the petitioner within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of submission of such application.

6.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. __________________ P.NAVEEN RAO,J 14th August, 2018 Rds
