Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents submits that during pendency of this writ petition, the relief sought for by the petitioner was granted by the respondents, as the petitioner was promoted as UDC in pursuance of DPC held on 08.10.2004 and he was further promoted as JAO in the year 2014. Hence, the cause in the writ petition does not survive and has become infructuous. By recording the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, the writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
