THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 22514 of 2016 ORDER :

The present Writ Petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

"...to issue a writ, order or direction, more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction on the part of the Respondents more specifically Respondents 2 to 5 in not taking any further action on the complaint dated 27.3.2016, 29.3.2016 and 10.6.2016 despite registration of FIR bearing No.204 of 2016 on the file of the 4th Respondent SHO P.S. Narsingi and consequently direct them to take immediate action on the complaint and bring justice and succor to the Petitioner and to pass..."

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the State of Telangana appearing for respondents 1 to 4. At the request of both the counsel, the Writ Petition is being taken up for disposal at the stage of admission. Since this Court is not deciding the case on merits, it may not be necessary to hear unofficial respondent No.5.

3. The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that though respondent No.4 registered a case in crime no.204 of 2016 of Narsingi police station, Cyberabad, Hyderabad for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 427 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, on

31.03.2016, there is no progress in the investigation till date. It is also his case that pursuant to the notice dated 01.04.2016 issued by respondent No.4 under Section 91A of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 to the informant, who is brother of the petitioner, to produce all oral and documentary evidence for examination, they approached the agency along with all documents.

4. The learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, states that the police are investigating into the matter and as the crime was registered on 31.03.2016 only, it may take some time for completion of investigation, and as soon as it is completed, they would file a final report.

5. Having regard to the circumstances of the case and taking into consideration the nature of allegations made in the report, respondent No.4 is directed to complete investigation in the aforesaid crime and file a final report, in accordance with law, as early as possible preferably within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

6. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in the light of this final

order. No order as to costs.
