Alleging that respondent No.4 - Circle Inspector of Police, Kakatiya University Police Station, is not registering the crime based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 26.06.2018, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of Sub Inspector of Police, Kakatiya Univesity Police Station, Warangal City, stating that records reveal that till date the petitioner did not approach the respondent police station, nor submitted any complaint, as alleged and that they are ready and willing to initiate action in accordance with law. Learned counsel for the petitioner did not produce any proof in support of the claim of the petitioner that he filed complaint dated 26.06.2018.
In view of the above, it is open for the petitioner to make fresh complaint to the 4th respondent, and on receiving such complaint, 4th respondent is directed to take appropriate action in accordance with law, following the guidelines laid down by Apex Court in LALITA KUMARI v. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH1. With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
