ORAL ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader and with their consent the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

According to petitioner she is wife of Kurva Anjilappa, who died on 3.12.2017 while working as Village Revenue Assistant. Petitioner claims employment on compassionate grounds. Petitioner made a representation on 18.12.2017 to Tahsildar-third respondent and submitted notarized affidavit of family members on 20.12.2017. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this writ petition is filed. 3.
Learned counsel for petitioner as well as learned Assistant Government Pleader agreed for disposal of the writ petition with a direction to third respondent to examine the claim of the petitioner and take appropriate decision expeditiously.

Having regard to the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to examine the grievance of the petitioner as ventilated in her representation dated 18.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
