THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6060 OF 2015 ORDER:

This criminal petition under Sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is filed by the petitioner/accused seeking grant of bail in connection with C.O.R.No.1250 of 2014-15 on the file of the P.S., Prohibition and Excise, Rajendranagar, registered for the offence under Section 8(c) read with Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Heard.

The allegation against the petitioner/accused is that he is selling toddy adulterated with Alprazolam.

Learned counsel for the petitioner/accused submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence and a false case has been foisted against the petitioner and as such, seeking grant of bail.

On perusing the complaint and the order of the Court below and also in view of the fact that the investigation is not completed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail at this stage. The criminal petition is accordingly dismissed. _____________________ JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO 07.07.2015 pln
