THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITON NO.24151 OF 2018 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in taking final decision in RC No.E/2960/2017 on the file of the 4th respondent as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to take appropriate action in RC No.E/2960/2017.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue and with the consent of both parties, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the District Collector, Mancherial District (3rd respondent), directed the Revenue Divisional Officer, Mancherial (4th respondent) to conduct enquiry, as to the allegations made against the former Tahsildar-R.Ashok in incorporating an extent of Ac.2.13 cents in Sy.No.50 situated at Kyathampally village of Mandamarri mandal by taking bribe amount, which is the subject matter of this writ petition.

Without going into the merits of the case, it is appropriate to direct the 4th respondent to complete the proceedings at the earliest.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Mancherial (4th respondent) to complete the proceedings in RC No.E/2960/2017, dated 16.12.2017, which was made over to him by the District Collector, Mancherial District (3rd respondent) as early as possible preferably within a period of

two to three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
