HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 17856 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for Respondents 1 to 3.

The petitioner worked as Accountant Grade-I in the District Office of the A.P. Civil Supplies Department in Srikakulam District and retired from service on 31.01.2016 on attaining the age of superannuation. He submitted necessary papers for processing payment of pension and requested to regularize the suspension period from 03.11.2010 to 21.01.2011. He submitted a representation on 18.04.2016 in regard thereto. When no action has been taken for processing the papers for payment of pension as well as on the representation, the

present Writ petition is filed.

In view of the facts stated above, since the matter relates to payment of pensionary benefits to a person retired from service on 31.01.2016, this Court is inclined to dispose of the Writ Petition without expressing any opinion on the merits or otherwise of the case by directing the first respondent to consider the representation dated 18.04.2016 submitted by the petitioner seeking payment of pensionary benefits and dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
