HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE GUDISEVA SHYAM PRASAD. WRIT PETITION No. 45898 OF 2016.

O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction in the nature of writ of mandamus to declare the inaction of the respondents in not taking action on the registration of F.I.R. No. 364 of 2016, dated 22/11/2016 before the third respondent/Station House Officer, Langer House Police Station, Hyderabad city, as illegal, arbitrary and consequently sought a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to take action against the accused persons in the above F.I.R.

2. Heard the arguments of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home and the learned counsel appearing for respondents 4 and 5.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the Police have not taken any action on the F.I.R.No. 364 of 2016 lodged by the petitioner, he filed the present writ petition, and therefore, sought for a direction to the concerned Police to complete the investigation and file charge sheet in the above crime.

4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits that investigation is in progress.

5. Learned counsel for the respondents 4 and 5 submits that a direction may be given to the concerned Police for completion of the investigation in this matter according to law.

6. Having regard to the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the concerned Police are directed to expeditiously complete the investigation in this matter and file the charge sheet.

7. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.

8. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand disposed of.
