THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN CONTEMPT CASE No.754 of 2014 ORDER:

The order of this Court in Writ Petition No.18401 of 2013 dated 28.06.2013 required the respondent, in case an application is filed in Form VI-A, to consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereupon in accordance with law within two months. A counter-affidavit is filed that, pursuant to an enquiry, an endorsement was issued on 18.05.2014 rejecting the claim of the petitioner, as there was a dispute, in respect of the very same property, between the petitioner and Sri Thummapudi Venkamsetty. The order of this Court merely required the respondent to consider the petitioner's case and, since the petitioner's case was considered and rejected, the respondent cannot be said to have violated the order of this Court, much less willfully and deliberately. I see no reason, therefore, to proceed against the respondent under the Contempt of Courts Act.

The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed.
