HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S. RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION NO. 45402 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel appearing for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Services appearing for respondents. 2.

The petitioner had applied for sanction of Earned Leave from 5.3.2013 to 3.6.2014 for a period of 456 days due to ill health of his parents. Petitioner made a representation on 8.7.2015 to the first respondent for the sanction of Earned Leave for this period and the second respondent by proceedings dated 11.3.2016 has also recommended to the first respondent for sanction of such leave to the petitioner. Counsel for the petitioner states that no action has been taken by the first respondent on the representation of the petitioner though more than one year has elapsed since its receipt by the first respondent. 3.

Government Pleader for Services appearing for first respondent states that the first respondent will dispose of the said representation within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and communicate his decision to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 8.7.2015 for sanction of earned leave from 5.3.2013 t 3.6.2014 by taking into account

the proceedings of the second respondent dated 11.3.2016, within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioner.
