Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the State of Andhra Pradesh. With their consent, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

The Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, came to be filed with the following prayer: "...to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS, declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not considering the petitioner representation dated on 07-06-2017 and not providing protection to the petitioner and his wife by restraining the interference in Sy.No.173 an extent of Ac.0-97 cents and. Open Plot an extent of 300 Sq.

Yards, near Bangalore Bus stand, Madanapalle Town, Chittoor District by the Municipal Chairman of Madanapalle Municipality Chittoor District and his henchmen is illegal, arbitrary, un-constitutional and violation of Articles 21, 300A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to provide protection to the petitioner and his wife Smt. Cheemala Prabhavathi R/o D.No. 9-95, Tallasubbanna Colony, Ranga Reddy Colony, Madanapalle, Chittoor District restrain the interference of the Municipal Chair Person and his henchmen in the petitioner land Sy.No.173 an extent of Ac.0-97 cents and Open Plot an extent of 300 Sq.Yards, near Bangalore Bus stand, Madanapalle Town, Chittoor District."

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a

CPK,J WP_20272_2017 direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, at the earliest.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader, though opposed the petition, however, states that if such representation is made and is still pending consideration, the same may be directed to be considered, in accordance with law.

Having regard to the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to deal with the representation, if any made by the petitioner seeking police protection, in accordance with law, as early as possible preferably within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
