Sri K.R.Sasidharan Nair, learned counsel states that Dr.Radhakrishna Murthy Yarlagadda, learned counsel on record for the petitioner, expired in April, 2015 and that he could not contact the petitioner despite his best efforts. As it is for the litigant to take appropriate steps once his counsel expired, this Court is of the opinion that the matter cannot be kept pending on this ground. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
