HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION NO.8108 OF 2019 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking quashing of the proceedings in C.C.No.51 of 2019 on the file of the V Additional Junior Civil Judge-cum-XIII Additional Metropolitan Magistrate at Kukatpally, Cyberabad.

A charge sheet came to be filed against the petitioner/A-4 for the offences punishable under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Though the present Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashing of entire proceedings, but learned counsel for the petitioner/A-4 restricts his prayer seeking dispensation of the presence of the petitioner/A-4 before the trial Court on every date of adjournment.

The learned Public Prosecutor submits that since the identity of petitioner/A-4 is not in dispute, her presence in the above C.C. may not be necessary on every date of adjournment. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the personal appearance of the petitioner/A-4 in C.C.No.51 of 2019 on the file of the V Additional Junior Civil Judge-cum-XIII Additional Metropolitan Magistrate at Kukatpally, Cyberabad, is hereby dispensed with except on the dates when her presence is specifically required by the Court.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
