Heard counsel for the petitioner and the Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents 1 & 2. 2.

Petitioner had applied to the 2nd respondent through a representation dt.14.03.2016 seeking release of family pension and terminal benefits due to her deceased-husband and contends that the 2nd respondent is not passing any orders thereon.

The Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents 1 & 2 states that the 2nd respondent will consider and pass orders on the said representation within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner.

In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dt.14.03.2016 within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
