This writ petition is filed to declare the action of respondents 6 to 8 in telecasting the news/specially designed programmes by depicting the photo as "IAS ADHIKARI GANDHAM CHANDRUDIPAI VARAKATNA VEDHIMPU AAROPANALU" etc., which amounts to demoralizing and character assassination of Gandham Chandrudu, who is the petitioner herein and making the people panic about their sensitive feelings about the public servants as illegal and arbitrary.

Learned counsel for the petitioner says that this Court has already granted interim order on 13-07-2018 as under: "There shall be a direction to respondents 6 to 8 not to telecast any programme in violation of the Programme Code Under Rule 6(1) of the Cable Television Networks Rules, 1994 against the Gandham Chandrudu (petitioner herein).

Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that this writ petition may be disposed of in terms of aforementioned interim order.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of interim order dated 13-07-2018. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
