The petitioner alleges interference of respondents with life and liberty of petitioner and his family by visiting their house and insisting them to appear before their authority. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that a case in Cr.No.79 of 2018 was registered basing on the complaint of one Linga Srinivas under Head 'Woman Missing', wherein the petitioner's son by name Sumanth is shown as suspect, who is absconding from the date of missing of Ms.Hemalatha, who is missing woman in the above crime. In that regard, the Investigating Officer made enquiries and the respondentpolice never detained the petitioner and his wife or ill-treated his son. According to them, there is no Vinukonda (Rural) police station as stated by the petitioner in the writ affidavit.

In this case, it is to be seen that as on today, no crime is registered against the petitioner and his son. In view of the same, the respondent-police shall not interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family except in accordance with law, if they are required in connection with any crime.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. _________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY,J 18-07-2018 Nvl
