By this public interest litigation (PIL), the petitioner seeks direction to respondent Nos.1 to 6 to complete the investigation in FIR No.1 of 2013 registered at Police Station Nirmal (T), Adilabad District against respondent No.7 and file charge sheet at the earliest. Sri Venugopal, learned Government Pleader has placed on record G.O.Rt.No.229, dated 02-04-2016, whereby the Government has accorded sanction for prosecuting respondent No.7 who is an MLA under Section 197 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. He has also served a copy of the Government Order on the counsel for the petitioner.

In view thereof, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the writ petition.

Writ petition is disposed of as not pressed.
