The grievance of the petitioners was with regard to the registration of Crime No.44 of 2011 on the file of the Station House Officer, T. Narasapuram Police Station, West Godavari District. They sought quashing of the said F.I.R. and a consequential direction to the police authorities to deliver custody of one Thutti Rajeswari to the 8th respondent.

The Sub-Inspector of Police, T. Narasapuram Police Station, West Godavari District, furnished written instructions dated 12.06.2015 to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that upon the complaint made by the 8th respondent to the effect that the petitioners had abducted his daughter, Thutti Rajeswari, Crime No.44 of 2011 was registered under Section 366-A I.P.C. read with Section 34 I.P.C. on the file of T. Narasapuram Police Station. Thutti Rajeswari was stated to have been traced on 26.05.2011 and the petitioners, being the accused in Crime No.44 of 2011, obtained anticipatory bail from this Court. Upon completing investigation, the police laid a charge sheet before the competent court and the case is presently undergoing trial in Sessions Case No.356 of 2013. In the light of the afore-stated facts, the prayer of the petitioners

cannot be accepted and it is for them to face the prosecution in the pending sessions case.

The writ petition is therefore dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
