ORAL ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader.

Petitioner is working as typist in the office of the Assistant Public Prosecutor. Petitioner is aggrieved by order dated 16.9.2017 imposing punishment of withholding two annual grade increments. Against the said decision of Director of Prosecutions-2nd respondent, appeal shall lie to Government under Rule 34 of TS CCS (CCA) Rules, 1991. Without exhausting the remedy of appeal, this writ petition is filed.

Since, petitioner has efficacious remedy in the form of appeal, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioner to avail the remedy of appeal. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
