This Writ Petition was filed challenging the order of the second respondent dated 05.11.2016 rejecting the application of the petitioner for Arms licence.

Since there is a provision for appeal against the impugned order, the writ petitioner seeks liberty to prefer an appeal in accordance with law. Granting such liberty, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
