THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No. 7385 OF 2018 ORDER:

The petitioner filed a complaint against respondent No. 2 under Sections 138 and 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (for short, 'the Act'), on the file of the Court of I Additional Judicial Magistrate of I Class at Proddatur (for short, 'the Court below') and the same is numbered as C.C.No. 467 of 2017 which is pending for adjudication. The petitioner filed the present petition seeking to issue a direction to the Court below to dispose of the above C.C. in terms of Section 143 of the Act.

Having regard to the innocuous relief sought by the petitioner, the Court below is directed to dispose of C.C.No. 467 of 2017 pending on its file as expeditiously as possible keeping in mind Section 143 of the Act, however, without giving any undue preference to this case alone. 3.

The criminal petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this criminal petition shall stand closed in consequence. _____________________________ Date: 17-07-2018.
