According to the petitioner land to an extent of Ac.3-00 cents in Sy.No.89 of Dugganapalle Village, Chennur Mandal, Kadapa District was assigned to one Muttalurupadu Subbaiah on 28.09.1938. The assignee gave this property to the father of the petitioner and executed a Will in his favour and thereafter his father was in possession and enjoyment all along and after the demise of his father, petitioner is in possession and enjoyment. The name of the father of the petitioner was reflected in the revenue records and consequent to the demise of his father, petitioner has made an application to enter his name in the revenue records in the place of his father. Alleging inaction on the said application, this writ petition is filed. 3.

At Page No.52 of the writ petition paper book, Form VI(a) generated from the Mee-Seva office is enclosed. It would disclose that on 25.07.2017 an application was made by the petitioner for mutation. That being so, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the Tahsildar, Chennur Mandal, Kadapa District (3rd respondent) to examine the claim of the petitioner for mutation of his name in the revenue records and for issuance of pattedar pass books and title deeds, by following the due procedure, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

- 3 - Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
