wp_26763_2017 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) The applicant in O.A.S.R.No. 1885 of 2017 filed this Writ Petition feeling aggrieved by rejection of the said O.A. by the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal at Hyderabad (for short, 'the Tribunal'). 2.

On 10-08.2017, the case was adjourned at the request of learned counsel for the petitioner. Today, at the request of learned counsel representing the petitioner, the case was passed over to post lunch session. When the case was called during the post lunch session, no one represented the petitioner. 3.

We have perused the record. The petitioner, who is a member of Multi Zone - I in the cadre of Assistant Excise Superintendent, filed the aforementioned O.A. to suspend the operation of Memo dated 10-06-2009, whereunder final seniority list has been prepared. He has filed an application for condonation of delay of 7 years 10 months and 2 days in filing the O.A. The Tribunal has dismissed this application on the reasoning that no explanation whatsoever was offered by the petitioner for causing such enormous delay. A perusal of M.A.No. 372 of 2017 filed for condonation of delay shows that no semblance of explanation has been offered by the petitioner for his approaching the Tribunal with such a long delay. As the inordinate delay has not been explained by the petitioner, the Tribunal is justified in dismissing the M.A. and rejecting the O.A.

For the aforementioned reasons, we do not find any merit in this Writ Petition and the same is accordingly dismissed.
