THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.3600 OF 2017 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C to quash the proceedings against the petitioners/A.1 to A.7 in S.C.No.46 of 2016 on the file of the Court of the I Additional District & Sessions Judge, Chittoor, Chittoor District.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.

The only relief, which the learned counsel for the petitioners, has sought is that the petitioners may be permitted to file an application under Rule 37 of the Criminal Rules of Practice before the trial Court. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the main case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned I Additional District & Sessions Judge, Chittoor is hereby directed to dispose of the petition, if any, filed by the petitioners under Rule 37 of the Criminal Rules of Practice in accordance with law.

With the above observations, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, pending if any in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed. __________________________ T. SUNIL CHOWDARY, J.
