HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA Crl.P.M.P. No.2961 OF 2017 IN/AND CRIMINAL PETITION No.3014 OF 2017 COMMON ORDER:
The present Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is filed by the petitioner - Accused seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.795 of 2016 of Rajendranagar Police Station, Cyberabad, Ranga Reddy District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A of IPC.

Crl.P.M.P.No.2961 of 2017 in Crl.P.No.3014 of 2017 is filed by the petitioner - defacto-complainant, seeking permission of the Court to compound the aforesaid offence and to quash the proceedings in the above crime. 3.
Both parties as well as their learned counsel are present before this Court and the parties are identified by their respective learned counsel Sri A. Ravi Shankar and Sri Reddy Venkataramana. The parties have also produced photostat copies of their respective "Aadhaar Cards" in proof of their identity.
4. Perused the affidavit filed by respondent No.2 - defactocomplainant and also the Joint Memo signed by both the parties filed along with the compromise petition in Crl.P.MP.No.2961 of 2017 in Crl.P.No.3014 of 2017. The
ASN,J Crl.P. No.3014 of 2017 petitioner and respondent No.2 - de facto complainant entered into compromise concerning the aforesaid offence. 5.
On being enquired, the de facto complainant expressed that she has no grievance against the petitioner. 6.
Since both the parties have entered into compromise and affirmed the contents of affidavit and the Joint Memo filed in support of the aforesaid compromise petition, compromise is recorded as the dispute falls within the guidelines laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in GIAN SINGH V. STATE OF PUNJAB1.

In view of the above circumstances, Crl.P.MP.No.2961 of 2017 is allowed and, consequently, the present Criminal Petition i.e., Crl.P.No.3014 of 2017 is allowed quashing the proceedings against the petitioner - Accused in Crime No.795 of 2016 of Rajendranagar Police Station, Cyberabad, Ranga Reddy District. The affidavit filed by respondent No.2 and the Joint Memo filed by both the parties shall form part of the record.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
