There is no public law element involved in this writ petition as the petitioner claims to have availed a car loan from the respondent bank and is aggrieved by its action in putting the said vehicle to sale on the ground of default in the repayment of loan. This is purely a contractual matter between the petitioner and the bank which is not amenable to the extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed on the ground of maintainability.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
