When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents submits that all the pensionary benefits, to which the petitioner was entitled were already paid to the petitioner and petitioner had retired from service on 30.06.2011 and hence the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the submission of the learned Standing counsel.

In view of the above submissions, this Court is of the considered view that the cause in the writ petition does not survive and has become infructuous.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
