HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 22696 of 2003 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in directing the petitioner to work underground on the basis of Medical Fitness Certificate dated 20.09.2003, as illegal and arbitrary.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. Therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.
