The case of the petitioner is that her husband by name Sheik Mahabob Subhani while working in Revenue Department died on 09-07-10. As such, the petitioner made an application to the department to pay death benefits and other benefits including family pension, arrears of salary, Gratuity, earned leave salary, Provident Fund, Group Insurance and other benefits of said Subhani entitled as per rules and the petitioner came to know that one Suryakumari @Sirajunniasa Begum also made an application to the revenue authorities stating that she is legally wedded wife of Subhani and on the advice of revenue authorities, the petitioner also filed O.S.No.145 of 2011 on the file of District Judge, Karimnagar for declaration that she is the legally wedded wife of Subhani and the same was dismissed.
Later the petitioner preferred appeal before this Court in A.S.No.467 of 2015 and the appeal was disposed of by this Court on 17-08-2015. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation on 20-11-2015 to the 2nd respondent for compassionate appointment and for release of Pension and death benefits of late Subhani. As no orders are passed, the present writ petition is filed. Learned counsel for the petitioner says that judgment and decree dated 17-08-2015 in A.S.No.467 of 2015 has become final, but the respondents are not taking any action.
Heard learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 20-11-2015 filed by the petitioner and take action
in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
