HON'BLE Smt JUSTICE ANIS CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.1282 of 2007 ORDER:

Pursuant to a settlement arrived at between the parties, the Lok Adalat, Hyderabad passed the following award on 24.09.2014. 1.

Sri K.Venu Madhav, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor, and both the parties are present. The matter has been settled amicably between the parties.

The Learned Public Prosecutor submits that this is a compoundable offence punishable under Section 8(b) of the A.P. Prohibition Act. 3.

Since the offence is compoundable, the matter has been compounded by imposing penalty of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) payable to Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee. Accordingly, settled.

The learned counsel for the revision petitioner / accused shall produce the challan before the lok adalat within a period of one week from today. Accordingly the matter is settled.

In view of the award dated 24.09.2014 passed by the Lok Adalat, Hyderabad, the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of in terms of the award. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the revision shall stand closed.
