THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR Writ Petition No.27841 of 2019 ORDER:

The present writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents, more particularly 4th respondent-Station House Officer, Bachupally Police Station, in interfering into the personal life and liberty of the petitioners including trying to arrest the petitioners in relation to FIR No.37 of 2018, dated 07.01.2018, as being illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India.

Heard Sri Katika Ravinder Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the official respondents.

Counter affidavit on behalf of the official respondents is placed on record.

A reading of the counter affidavit, filed on behalf of 6th respondent, in particular paragraphs-8 & 9 of thereof, it is stated that the respondent police authorities never harassed the petitioners nor interfered into the personal life and liberty of the petitioners in the name of FIR. It is also stated therein that the averment of the petitioners that the respondent police authorities are trying to arrest the petitioners by taking into law into their own hands is incorrect. Further, in the said counter it is stated that the petitioners have filed the present writ petition only under apprehension of arrest with false and baseless allegations. The respondent police authorities have not arrested the petitioners and are only discharging their legitimate duties with due respect to the orders of this Court.

Having regard to the above statement made on behalf of the 6th respondent by their counter affidavit, no further orders need be passed in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed, in the light of this final order. ____________________ T.VINOD KUMAR, J Date: 03.03.2020 Isn
