ORAL ORDER:

Petitioners are working as Panchayat Secretaries Grade III. In the provisional seniority list of Panchayat Secretaries Grade III dated 5.8.2017, they were shown at serial Nos. 56, 72 and 68 respectively and unofficial respondents were shown at serial Nos. 80 and 90 respectively. While so, in the final seniority list published on 19.2.2018 petitioners were shown at serial Nos.95, 91 and 85 respectively and unofficial respondents were brought up and shown at serial Nos. 74 and 54 respectively. Aggrieved by the same, petitioners preferred appeal to the Commissioner-3rd respondent on 21.2.2018. Alleging inaction in disposal of the said appeal, this writ petition is filed.

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader agreed for disposal of the writ petition with a direction to Commissioner-3rd respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioners expeditiously. Having regard to the same, without going into the merits of the matter, writ petition is disposed of directing the Commissioner -3rd respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioners on 21.2.2018 after affecting notice on affected parties and on due consideration of their respective submissions. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
