HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:

Petitioner is working as School Assistant in Zilla Parishad High School, Ekmamidi village in Nawabpet Mandal, Old Ranga Reddy district. Petitioner completed seven years eleven months so far by the time transfer counseling is undertaken. Grievance of petitioner is that though petitioner applied for transfer to other places, but she is retained at the same place vide orders dated 08.07.2018 and unofficial respondents are granted their choice of placements. Alleging illegal retention and considering the request of others, who are not entitled for such request, petitioner filed appeal before the Commissioner and Director of School Education (3rd respondent) on 09.07.2018. Alleging inaction on the said appeal, this writ petition is filed.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, informs the Court that date of consideration of appeal is now extended and since petitioner has already preferred appeal, the same will be considered. 3.

In view of the fact that petitioner has already availed remedy of appeal as per the Rule 16 of Telangana Teachers (Regulation of Transfers) Rules, 2018, notified in G.O.Ms.No.16, School Education, dated 06.06.2018, the appellate authority is directed to consider the appeal preferred by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law by assigning due reasons in support of decision within the time specified by the rules as now extended. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
