HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.15998 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief: "directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to forthwith restore power supply to the Flat No. 2A, H.No.12-2-823/A/120, Santosh Nagar Colony, Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad, of the petitioner by declaring the action of the 3rd respondent and her family members in tampering with the meter and disconnection of power supply as illegal and arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the official respondents to take appropriate legal action on the representations of the petitioner dated. 25.4.2017 and pass such other order or orders may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri R. Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondents 1 and 2.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner herein that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner, the petitioner submitted a representation on 25.04.2017 to the Chairman & Managing Director, TSSPDCL, Corporate Office, Mind Compound, Hyderabad (1st respondent) requesting for restoration of the power supply and that no action has been taken so far.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for respondents 1 & 2 that appropriate action will be taken on the said representation, in accordance with law.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents 1 & 2 to take appropriate action on the representation, dated 25.04.2017, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein to the 1st respondent, within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as per law. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
