THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.11913 of 2002 ORDER:

In this writ petition, the petitioners seek a direction to the respondents to mutate their names in the municipal records by deleting the names of the old tenants with respect to shop Nos.29, 19, 18, 30, 32, 12, 6, 23 and 9 respectively situated at VRR Complex, Besant Road, Governorpet, Vijayawada, Krishna District as per the resolution of respondent No.2, dated 04.01.1992.

Sri T.S.Venkata Ramana, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2 submits that the petitioners were granted new lease for a period of 20 years and from 2014 onwards, they are in possession of the shops in question and therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive anymore.

In view of the above submission, the writ petition is closed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
